Review of the grooming seminar

Saturday, 07.09.2024
Last Saturday we, Aesculap Schermaschinen GmbH, had the pleasure of taking part in the exciting grooming seminar organised by Farah Eggers (Grooming-Point Eggers). Our information and sales stand offered participants the opportunity to familiarise themselves with our high-quality clippers and accessories and to receive comprehensive advice. In addition to other sales stands with shampoo, brushes, scissors and groomer clothing, a wide range of products for professional animal grooming was presented.

A special highlight of the seminar was the jumble sale tombola we sponsored, which generated great enthusiasm among the participants.

The proceeds from the tombola will be donated to the zoo school in Suhl, which promotes environmental and nature education for children, young people and adults.

They often design their programmes for older people and people with disabilities. The aim is to give everyone, regardless of their age or physical abilities, the opportunity to experience nature and animals and take part in environmental education programmes.

In addition, all those present were delighted to receive small gifts.

During the specialist demonstrations, participants were able to learn valuable tips and techniques on various grooming methods:
  • The Yorkshire Terrier sport cut demonstration introduced beginners in particular to working with clippers, blade sets and attachment combs.
  • The Bolonka sports cut demonstration provided comprehensive knowledge of anatomical principles and clipping techniques to optimise the shape of the Bolonka's body.
  • In the Havanese sport cut demonstration led by Farah Eggers, the participants learnt about different hairstyle variations and techniques for everyday salon work.

We used our Favorita CLi in both the classic red and pink versions. Our handy trimmers such as the Akkurata were used for more precise work and smaller details. Our combs and scissors were also available for the finishing touches, which proved to be particularly helpful for the detailed work.

We would like to thank the organisers and all participants for an all-round successful event and look forward to attending future seminars again.
